second hand smoke.
i decided to put this up as i notice that not many really posted much about this topic under tobacco abuse.
fast fact about secondhand smoke from the link i provided,
secondhand smoke is also known as passive smoking.this i believe many would have known by now;DD
When a cigarette is smoked, only half of the smoked is inhaled &exhaled by the smoker itself while the other half floats around in the air.
Passive smoking is also the cause for 3000 death of non-somkers every year from lung cancer,
thats very sad, it's like smokers are murderers in other forms, taking lives from their inconsiderate acts.
secondhand smoke also cause health problems to infants under 18 months every year, about 150 000 to 300 000 cases.
Not only that, it also worsened 200 000 to 1 000 000 asthmatic cases in children.
Passive smoking is also one of the main reason why there are thousandof new cases of asthmatic people every year.
In my opinion, childrens get infected the most in secondhand smoke.
Kids who breathe in secondhand smoke could suffer from:
1)dental calvities
2)eye &nose irritation
3)irritability
isn't that sad?
Kids are suppose to enjoy thier childhood with fun, not with visits to the doctirs and clinics.
From here we can bring up one fact,
SMOKERS ARE MUDERERS &INCONSIDERATE.

Many people think that if they dont smoke, they'll be safe.
But they too have to be careful, especially if they stay near smokers.
HOWEVER, smokers still bear the highest risk
Not only are they directly breathing in the 4000 chemicals, they are also indirectly breathing in secondhand smoke.
GROSS.
anyway, we should really be concerened about residents who live near areas where there are many smokers.
smokers in singapore is rising real quick and they inconsiderate act is also rising.
Smokers just smoke wherever they feel like. Many can be seeen smoking in void decks.
and this could be a risk for residents living in the first few floors, who will be breathing in second hand smoke.
NEVER EVER UNDERESTIMATE SECONDHAND SMOKE.Though it does not kill you, but it is the reason that took thousadns of lives every year around the world.ohoh!

i hope it does.
and,
People who smoke a pack a day die on average 7 years earlier than people who have never smoked.
Parents can help their children from preventing smoking in their teengnage age by letting them know about the facts about smoking.
They should also let their children grrow up in a smoke free enviroment.
This way, their kids will not be influeced;D
